Something which had always annoyed me about previous versions of Boot Camp was the volume handling. You had no way of knowing what volume level you were at unless you clicked the speaker icon in your XP task-bar.
Not any more!
My good friend Leevi Graham is returning from a 12 month trip around the world this month, and the first thing he wants to do is dive back into the web industry head-first.
So he’s decided to start a Newcastle web industry meet-up and has given it the title of “Bits & Pixels“.
From our discussions so far it’s nothing more than a social get-together at this stage - so no real agenda. We’ll probably have name badges and do a round of introductions, but beyond that, it’s just an excuse to enjoy the brilliant vibe and staff at the Grand Hotel (and to talk web of course). Oh, and the beer.
So if you’re a web designer or developer and you’re in the Newcastle area, please come along - we’d love to meet you all. I for one have worked in the industry in Newcastle for several years, and have very few local contacts - we seem to be a somewhat isolated and guarded bunch. Not any more!
